Shopping for Baby

My daughter registered for her baby at Babies R Us.  Wow, I can't believe all the cutesy little doodads they have come up with.  The Diaper Genie is kind of confusing to me.  I think she told me you put the disposable diaper in it, and then it spins all the wet out of it.  Then it puts the diaper in a little bag ready for the garbage.  Back in the day we just threw them in the garbage and they are still sitting in a landfill someplace 30 years later.  Another thing is now there are hundreds of car seats to choose from, I had just one.  If you add up the cost of all the cool things that babies need (or Mama wants), it didn't cost that much to have my children.  The OB and hospital bills combined.  But that's okay, I want her life as a new mom to be a wonderful experience.
